SERVICE CHANGE
CLOSURE OF ST MARYS PASS
The recent closure of St Marys Pass has affected our services, impacting passengers travelling on East Coast and Intercity services.
Please plan ahead, expect delays and altered interchange arrangements. We apologise for any delay to your journey.
TO/FROM LAUNCESTON
o Passengers travelling from St Helens to Launceston – all services
Services will depart St Helens according to the current timetable at 8.15am on weekdays and Saturdays, and at 3.50pm on Sundays
Passengers using all other stops should expect approximately 40 minutes delays
There is no impact to interchange arrangements at the Launceston Transit Centre
o Passengers travelling from Launceston to St Helens - all services
Passengers disembarking at Scamander, Beaumaris and St Helens should allow for delays of approximately 40 minutes
TO HOBART
o Passengers travelling from St Helens to Hobart via Epping Forest - weekday and Saturday services
Services will depart St Helens according to the current timetable at 8.15am
Passengers using all other stops should expect approximately 40 minutes delays
Due to this delay, passengers can remain onboard and travel through to the Launceston Transit Centre where they can interchange with Intercity Services travelling to Hobart. There will be no changes to fares
o Passengers travelling from St Helens to Hobart via Epping Forest - Sunday services cancelled
This service has been cancelled until further notice
Passengers wishing to travel to Hobart from the East Coast can use Route 737, departing Bicheno at 8.45am and arriving at the Hobart Interchange at 11.45am. This is a general access service open to all passengers
Students that use the St Helens to Hobart service to travel to Hobart boarding schools can use the Walkers Coaches Bicheno to New Town boarding school service. This Walkers service will depart the from the Bicheno Information Centre (Forster St) at the regular time of 4:30pm
o Passengers travelling from Hobart to St Helens (all days)
Passengers disembarking at Scamander, Beaumaris and St Helens should allow for delays of approximately 40 minutes
